Tucson Birthday Art Contest is Back for 2026!
Dear Teachers, Parents, and Educators,
We are excited to announce the return of our Tucson Birthday Art Contest for 2026.
Students ages 5–17 are invited to create original artwork inspired by Tucson’s history, culture, landscapes, or community. Winning designs will be featured on a postcard and commemorative envelopes.
Entries are judged by age group, and finalists will be invited to an awards ceremony at the Postal History Foundation on August 20, 2026.

Key Dates & Information
- Submission Deadline: Friday, July 17, 2026 by 2:30 p.m.
- Awards Ceremony: Thursday, August 20, 2026
- Eligible Ages: Students ages 5–17
- Artwork Requirements:
- Original artwork only
- Inspired by Tucson (history, culture, landscapes, community)
- Flat submissions only (no 3D elements)
- No photographs or digital/computer-generated artwork
- Judging: Entries reviewed by age group
- Important Note: Entries must include completed and signed entry form (student + parent/guardian).
Submission Deadline
